Suffolk Street, Arrowtown
This development consists of 10 houses; four houses completed in 2015 as the first stage and the remaining six completed in 2016.
The land, previously owned by Council, originally held a number of old and dilapidated cabins used as short term rentals. With the leases due to expire, the Council agreed to transfer the land to QLCHT so that it could be redeveloped as decent, affordable housing, to be held by QLCHT on behalf of the community in perpetuity. All 10 homes are rental properties, with two of them set aside for Senior Housing.
The houses were designed by Dravitzki Brown Architecture and built by Breen Construction. Below are some images of the Suffolk Street development. You can also view the site plan here.
